How do You Measure Ions in Water?

The ions widely present in raw water are:

Cations: calcium (Ca2+), magnesium (Mg2+), sodium (Na+), potassium (K+), iron (Fe2+).
Anions: chloride (Cl-), bicarbonate (HCO3-), nitrate (NO3-), carbonate (CO3-), sulfate (SO4-).
